Robert Gerald Kelly, 79, of Carmel, IN passed away on Friday, October 1, 2010.

Robert was born in Chicago, IL on October 1, 1931, the son of the late Francis Lawrence and Mary (Malone) Kelly.
Robert graduated from Loyola University Chicago, 1953; University of Chicago MBA, 1957. He was an All American Cross Country, 1951. He served in the U.S. Army and was an Illinois Federation Teachers Representative.

He is survived by his wife Mary Patricia (Slattery) Kelly, son William F. Kelly, daughters: Mary Eileen Kelly (James Miller), Anne M. Kelly, Kristen P. Dennemann (Brett), and grandchildren: Kristina, David, Robert, Allison, and Cassandra.

He was preceded in death by his son Robert G. Kelly Jr.

Memorial Service will be held at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church, 1402 W. Main Street, Carmel, IN 46032 on Saturday, October 16, at 1:00pm
